Planning
Slipway
Slide the blocks to free the trapped one.
Slipway is a calm daily planning puzzle. The board is packed with blocks that each slide only along their own lane. One marked block is trapped; clear its path so it can slide out the gap on the right. The fewer moves you use, the better. Par is the tightest possible line, and the day always solves.
How to play
- The board is full of blocks. Each one slides only along its length, into the empty space.
- Drag a block to slide it, or focus it and use the arrow keys.
- Free the marked block so it can slide out through the gap on the right edge.
- Use as few moves as you can. Touching a block counts as one move, however far it slides.
Scoring and streaks
- Solving the day at all earns one star and counts toward your streak.
- Solving within a few moves of par earns two stars.
- Solving in par, the tightest possible line, earns three stars.
Sharing your result
When you finish, you get a spoiler-free badge to share. It shows how you did, never the answer, so friends can be curious without spoiling their own puzzle.

Common questions
- Is everyone's board the same?
- Yes. The same starting board for every player each day.
- What is par?
- Par is the fewest moves the puzzle can be solved in, found by the solver before the day ships. It is a target to chase, never a cut-off.
- Can I get stuck?
- No. Every daily is checked to be solvable before it ships, and Undo and Reset let you back out of any line. The day always solves.
